FIFTY FIFTY’s Keena has temporarily halted her promotions for the new album.

Although it was initially reported as a health issue, the real reason is trauma related to Ahn Sung-il.

FIFTY FIFTY made their comeback on the 29th of last month with their third mini album Day and Night. However, things went awry from the beginning, they weren’t even able to perform on a comeback stage.

This album held special meaning for Keena. As the eldest member, she led the group through preparations. But everything fell apart after the cross-examination with Ahn Sung-il on the 15th of last month.

On August 26 of last year, Keena filed a lawsuit against Ahn Sung-il for forgery of private documents and use of forged documents. Ahn is accused of forging her signature without consent and allocating only 0.5% of the copyright shares for the song Cupid to her.

The Gangnam Police conducted a face-to-face interrogation as part of their investigation (requested by Keena). Accompanied by her lawyer, Keena spent two hours confronting Ahn to determine the truth.

However, facing Ahn directly turned out to be too much. Immediately after the interrogation, her mental health collapsed. She began suffering from symptoms like vomiting, auditory hallucinations, insomnia, and anorexia. Keena informed the company of her condition, and a decision was made to halt her activities.

Keena is currently focusing on recovering her health. If her condition improves, she may rejoin the group later this month. FIFTY FIFTY plans to continue promoting through the end of the month.
