In fact, government-accredited international schools that admit Korean nationals are considered the most expensive schools in Korea.

While the facilities are said to be top-tier, the school is not free from criticism of being an “elite school for the rich.” According to current students, classmates come from a wide range of high-status backgrounds, families in politics, business conglomerates, professional fields, and more.

Recently, the school drew attention when it was revealed that students stayed at the luxury five-star hotel Signiel for a school trip, where a one-night stay costs over 700,000 won (more than $500 USD).
