Hey everyone! Since a lot of people in Korea still don’t know about this and it seems like it’s getting buried, I wanted to explain it so you all know well~ This story that Choi Siwon posted a few days ago! I’ll tell you what it means!!
Lately, the US is making a huge fuss by monopolizing Venezuela Venezuela was under Maduro’s dictatorial regime +
The word “enchufado” in Korean would be something like “parachute,” in that sense.
But in this current context, it’s roughly calling people who cozy up to Maduro to get some benefits “enchufados.”
But this isn’t just about Maduro’s lackeys, it’s also about opposition folks who on the surface pretend to curse Maduro and resist him, but turn out to be secretly sucking up to him.
This is how they came up with the term “Enchufados”
On the American far-right conservative side, they really hate Maduro.
They’re cheering on barging into another country, whether its leader is a dictator or whatever, suddenly invading, wrecking the country, and abducting Maduro.
And Korea’s far-right conservative groups (especially Jeon Han-gil), who suck up hard to Trump, are now bringing this term over and using it.
Lee Jaemyung = Maduro
In other words, they’re saying Lee Jaemyung is running a dictatorship.
It started with some people in the People Power Party calling certain members “entrupados” as an insult, and the term originated from the “Yoon Again” group.
Basically, the right wing uses it to label people they suspect of being leftists or people pretending to be right-wing but suspected of being leftist and anyone seen as obstructing the “Yoon Again” campaign
So, in this context, that story that Choi Siwon posted was uploaded with this vibe of “purge these Enchufados” or whatever ㅋㅋ but the even more f**ked up thing is that regular folks obviously wouldn’t have heard of that bulls**t word, and he just straight-up posts it like thatㅋㅋㅋ Of course, normal people are gonna be like “what is that?” and the far-right conservative crowd will instantly clock it and start bootlicking ㅋㅋ
