The “Unschooling” trend that’s starting to catch on little by little among American parents these days
It’s about not sending kids to school and letting them seek out and study what they like on their own (“They only really learn well if they find and study it themselves”) The problem is, if the kid doesn’t like it, they don’t even learn the alphabet or math… So it’s sparking debates about whether it’s neglect or tough love
