The debate that KATSEYE has become less diverse (in terms of race)…

1. The view that diversity has declined

“What was the point of any of this? They wanted a diverse group then kick out the black girl, they wanted a vocalist to sell out stadiums and proceed to give her songs about fried chicken and pinkies, they wanted people who weren’t boring but don’t give them creative control”

“Since KATSEYE’s main appeal has always been their diversity and sisterhood, kicking out their only Black member goes directly against everything they’ve built. And since they’re prioritizing their crumbling brand image over their musical identity, their chances of a successful future seem slim.”

– They said they wanted diversity, but by kicking out the Black woman, they’re ruining that ‘diversity’.

– With only Asians and whites here, what kind of diversity is that? ㅋ

– Racial diversity developed with Black people at its core, and now she’s leaving…..

2. The view that KATSEYE still possesses diversity

“Is diversity defined only by Black people???”

– KATSEYE’s still has an incredibly diverse cast, including people from Korea, the U.S., the Philippines, India, Venezuela, Cuba, and more

– “Asian”ㅋ Asia has so many different races and countries, yet they lump them all under “Asian.” That’s ridiculous

– Manon is mixed-race to begin with, so why do people treat her like she represents Black people…? 

– It’s even stranger to suggest that having just Manon makes racial diversity possible

2. What are we supposed to do when she left on her own? Also, people who claim that they need a Black person for a group to be “diverse” is being more r*c*st than anyone else

3. If they really kicked her out, then 1 is definitely the right answer, no matter how many times you revisit this. But everyone knows that’s not the caseㅋㅋㅋ

Aren’t they the ones being r*c*st? It means they don’t acknowledge Asians
