[theqoo] DIRECTOR JANG JAEHYUN WHO SAID LAST YEAR THAT YOO AH-IN WOULDN’T STAR IN HIS NEW FILM

Director Jang Jaehyun of the film ‘Exhuma’ has denied rumors that actor Yoo Ah-in will appear in his upcoming project.

In a phone call with OSEN on the morning of the 17th, Director Jang stated, “It is true that I am preparing a new project tentatively titled ‘Vampir’*. However, the claim that actor Yoo Ah-in is starring in it is completely untrue.”

He explained, “To begin with, the screenplay hasn’t even been written yet. I have never formally offered the role to the actor. It is true that I recently asked how he was doing and we discussed future schedules, but it seems a completely different story has circulated. He also mentioned that he wants to spend the next year or so quietly, without any work commitments.”

Regarding the new project *Vampire*, Director Jang added, “The screenplay hasn’t been completed or even fully drafted; only a synopsis exists at this stage. A production company hasn’t been selected yet, and discussions are ongoing. I am cautious because I don’t know how things might change. Personally, I am looking at a timeline that extends into the year after next.”
