The whole “fearless, ambitious” image is contradictory when they don’t have the skills to back it up. Coachella still follows them around like a scarlet letter. Instead, they suddenly switched to this bizarre, goofy “shinna shinna” style that doesn’t resonate with the public. They’re the only ones having fun and thinking it’s clever. But the moment you say the song isn’t your taste, you’re branded as tone-deaf, a Bunnies, an anti, someone who knows nothing about music, or lectured about “current trends.”
