BTS Collaborates With Hyundai For #PositiveEnergyChallenge

BTS’ partnership with Hyundai has brought a series of ads and content for positive energy geared towards environmental healing.

Hyundai’s hydrogen-powered cars are a revolutionary novelty that is bound to change the world. Unlike traditional cars, hydrogen-powered vehicles do not burn any fossil fuels while running, thus producing zero pollution. To make this message of environmental empowerment even stronger, the renowned car brand recruited BTS to help spread the word.

The newly-released ad kicked off with Jin stating a modified catchphrase, “This is worldwide awesome”. The clip progressed with the seven boy group members against backdrops inspired by nature.

From a room with illuminated cubes and plants, the misty mountains, and an infinite space covered in starlight, Hyundai’s Positive Energy commercial is a breathtaking sight to behold.

The ad then concluded with Jin, Jungkook, V, Suga, RM, Jimin, and J-Hope walking towards the hydrogen fuel cell car that appeared to be hovering above a body of water. The concept seemed to be a subtle nod towards BTS’ Map of The Soul: 7 poster art, where the boys are depicted above a body of water and a purple starlit sky.

In celebration of World Environment Day, Hyundai has also sparked a new Tiktok challenge called #positiveenergychallenge. The brand aims to start a movement of environmental awareness, as our home planet needs our help now more than ever. Hyundai encourages people to show positive energy with BTS for a better tomorrow through the popular social networking platform for a chance to win a Hyundai x BTS eco-package.

The challenge will run from June 5 to 19, and the winners will be announced on June 23. The #positiveenergychallenge also serves a double purpose of campaigning for fun Tiktok videos while catalyzing a chain of change for our planet.
