BTS & SEVENTEEN Dominate As Leading K-Pop Boy Groups In July Brand Rankings

Congratulations to BTS and SEVENTEEN!

The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed the brand reputation rankings among male idol groups for the month of July. According to its latest report, the boy groups from Big Hit Labels namely, BTS and SEVENTEEN reigned as the leading acts today.

The rankings are grounded on various factors including consumer media, communication, and community indices. Particularly, the institute has extracted a huge amount of data from June 9 to July 10.

Securing the top spot once again is BTS. The worldwide phenomenal septet has been leading the list for the 26th straight months now. The boys were able to hold on to their rank this month through their impressive brand reputation index of 9,596,339.

Some of the high-ranking phrases from the group’s keyword analysis included “album”, “Billboard”, and “YouTube.” The positive words such as “participate”, “record”, and “surpass” are also present as their highest-ranking related terms.

#2 SEVENTEEN

Taking over the second place is SEVENTEEN. Previously at the 5th spot, the well-loved self-producing idols were able to rise up in the rankings this July thanks to their million-seller comeback. Wowing fans with their seventh mini-album Heng:garae and its addictive “Left & Right” title track, the thirteen-member group scored 3,658,069 brand reputation index.

Completing this month’s top five are EXO, NCT, and ASTRO. EXO placed third with a score of 2,525,362. NCT took the fourth spot with a 2,082,422 brand reputation index, while ASTRO obtained 1,897,804 at the fifth rank.
