A South Korean court postponed witness testimony in the robbery and assault trial involving singer-actress Nana and her mother after two scheduled witnesses failed to appear. The defendant is accused of breaking into Nana’s home, threatening the family with a weapon, and attempting robbery, while his counterclaim against Nana for attempted murder was dismissed by police as self-defense. The court plans to hold witness questioning on May 19 and issue a final ruling on June 4.

Originally, two individuals: including a person who prepared the injury diagnosis reports for Nana and her mother, were scheduled to testify as witnesses that day, but they did not appear.

Accordingly, the court ordered the defendant’s side to submit results related to the fact-finding request regarding the medical reports within two days. The witness examination is now scheduled for the morning of the 19th. The court added, “We will conduct witness questioning on the 19th and conclude proceedings that day.” [Nate]
