The adult entertainment establishment owner who extorted money from the late actor Lee Sun-kyun had premeditated the crime
On December 28th, the entertainment media outlet Dispatch revealed some of the mobile messenger conversations that A (29, female), the adult entertainment establishment head who testified to drug use alongside Lee Sun-kyun, had with her acquaintances. According to the report, A is a suspect in the blackmail case in which she extorted 300 million won by threatening Lee Sun-kyun.
In a messenger conversation, A expressed her intention to extort money from Lee Sun-kyun, “What if I lie to Lee Sun-kyun, saying I received a threat from a hacker?” Her acquaintance stopped her, “No, no. Please, please.”
However, in September, A contacted Lee Sun-kyun and asked him for money.
Dispatch also released another conversation A had with an acquaintance, where she deliberated on how much money to extort from Lee Sun-kyun. A said, “I need to take 300 million won from him because I need to take a break.”
On September 22nd, Lee Sun-kyun gave 300 million won to A. At that time, A wrote a memorandum promising to deliver the money to the hacker. However, A did not deliver the money and intercepted it herself.
On October 13th, A threatened Lee Sun-kyun again, demanding an additional 50 million won. Lee Sun-kyun’s side handed over the money to an acquaintance of A, who has now been arrested as an accomplice.
