On the March 30th broadcast of MBC’s Good Day episode 6, the Good Day general assembly begins with everyone gathering in one place. Before that, a meeting between K-pop icon G-Dragon and the members of aespa is revealed.

In a pre-released clip of episode 6, the behind-the-scenes of G-Dragon and aespa’s meeting before the general assembly is shown. Former Weekly Idol MCs Jung Hyungdon and Defconn, who were also present, showcase their signature hosting skills, creating an entertaining senior-junior dynamic that hasn’t been seen before.

G-Dragon shared why he wanted aespa to participate in Good Day, saying, “The synergy of the songs they’ve released so far has been great. I’ve been keeping an eye on them even while taking a break. When I attended MAMA recently, I saw them win awards,” acknowledging both aespa’s unique “iron taste” charm and their dominance at year-end award ceremonies.

Jung Hyungdon jokingly remarked, “I hope they don’t do something like ‘Whiplash,’” piquing curiosity. It was later revealed that his daughters, who are aespa fans, constantly copy the choreography. The so-called “neck-grabbing” move from Whiplash went viral, even catching G-Dragon’s attention, as he was spotted mimicking the dance, making headlines.

Jung Hyungdon and Defconn, showcasing their classic Weekly Idol MC instincts, spontaneously asked G-Dragon to dance. Winter from aespa stepped in as a dance instructor, guiding him through the key moves. G-Dragon, feeling shy in front of his juniors and the original performer, eventually turned around while dancing, causing laughter on set.
