[instiz] ACTRESS IU CORRECTING AND REMOVING PARTS OF THE SCRIPT OF ‘PERFECT CROWN’

IU:  The original line is “I’d rather lose cleanly,” but

–  It’s not that I’m upset about losing cleanly, is it?

– So, how about changing it to “I’d rather lose dirty~”?

– Would it be okay to make it “dirty- dirty”?

Park Junhwa (Director): Ok ok

IU: I don’t want to say the lines at the end

Director: Ok

1. Wow, I guess because it’s IU, they were able to decide on the lines. It’s a bit weird. And then to just slip out of the controversy over historical distortion like that…

2. When she said she didn’t want to do the scene later, what she meant was that Byun Wooseok was too emotional to do it

3. It seems ironic that, despite being so actively involved in the production, even to the point of rewriting the dialogue, she’s remained completely silent on the controversy without issuing a single official statement

4. But on a separate note, every time I see that, it looks like it would be better to just leave it as is, so I’m curious why she changed it like that

5. If you go out of your way like this just to bash one actress, aren’t you just obscuring the real issue? During the “Cheonse” scene, IU wasn’t even on set, and the clip at the end was something her co-star said, yet you posted it as if IU had said it

6. In the “Cheonse, Cheonse, Cheon-cheonse” scene, Byun Wooseok was the main though. It’s impressive that you guys are dragging IU here just to hate on her~

> But it’s clearly not just about the Cheonse controversy, the whole drama is controversial. Why do you seem to be trying to downplay it? They portray IU’s refusal to wear a hanbok as cool, even though there are so many other controversies

7. Why are you guys doing this only to IU? The director, writer and actors were all at fault

8. ㄷㄷ So that’s how you spin an arrow

9. Just looking at that, it’s clear the director gave the go-ahead. So why is IU getting the flak? I know there’s controversy, but looking at this, the director is more to blame. It’s weird how people are linking the two

> Because she benefitted

10. You brought this here to get IU hated right?
