When contacted for a statement regarding the recent speculations that ATEEZ member Hongjoong dissed HYBE Labels chairman Bang Si Hyuk in his lyrics, KQ Entertainment told media outlet TV Report on January 15 KST, “We have no comments to offer.”
Previously, upon the release of the collaboration single “SMB” between Hongjoong and American rapper Odetari, speculations arose that the ATEEZ member was directing disses toward Bang Si Hyuk in the mention of phrases like “You think you’ve made it, hitman” and “Watch your back / Du-du-du, Bang.”
Meanwhile, it’s believed that the controversial ‘Weekly Music Industry Reports’ created by HYBE Labels and leaked to the public last year did not contain any mentions of ATEEZ.
