Actor Park Sunghoon, who caused controversy by uploading an AV image, went missing from the episode of Yoo Quiz on the Block, where Cha Ju-young appeared.

In the episode aired on the 19th, Cha Ju-young appeared and shared behind-the-scenes stories from the Netflix series The Glory, as well as clarified rumors about being born with a silver spoon.

The episode also showed photos of the cast from The Glory, including Song Hyekyo, Lim Jiyeon, Lee Dohyun, and Jeong Seongil, but Park Sunghoon, who played Jeon Jaejun, was noticeably absent. Since Park had appeared on Yoo Quiz, his omission led to speculation that they cut ties with him.

Earlier, on December 30th, Park Sunghoon had posted a parody of the Japanese AV cover on his Instagram, which he later deleted, causing controversy. Despite offering two apologies, he was criticized for providing “false explanations” and faced public backlash.

Eventually, Park Sunghoon tearfully apologized during an interview for Netflix’s Squid Game 2, saying, “I caused a lot of discomfort with my huge mistake. I’m truly sorry.” However, due to the ongoing controversy, he was removed from his role in the upcoming drama The Tyrant’s Chef, with actor Lee Chae-min taking over his role.
