Former ‘Momoland’ member Daisy has exposed the ‘plastic surgery timing’ of idols.

On the 22nd, Daisy shared her experiences during her idol career on her personal channel.

She claimed that many idols undergo plastic surgery during breaks, such as during group inactivity or when recovering from injuries. Daisy also revealed that when autographs are required, some members have staff sign on their behalf instead of doing it themselves. Regarding stage performances, she disclosed that sometimes pre-recorded AR tracks are played while idols jump around to make it appear as if they are singing live.

As Daisy’s comments spread across online communities, fans reacted with mixed feelings, with some saying, “It’s shocking but sounds real,” while others questioned, “Why say something that could hurt fellow idols?”

In 2019, Daisy was involved in dating rumors with ‘iKON’ member Song Yunhyeong. At the time, Daisy’s agency, MLD Entertainment, confirmed the relationship, but Song Yunhyeong’s agency, YG Entertainment, denied it, creating a confusing situation. Daisy later revealed that this situation influenced her decision to leave the group.

Daisy also claimed that her departure from the group was not voluntary but she got fired and that she had not been informed about it in advance. On the other hand, her agency explained that her hiatus was due to health and personal reasons. Daisy emphasized that despite having the desire to return, she was not given the opportunity by her agency.

Additionally, Daisy mentioned that the production cost of the Mnet audition program “Finding Momoland,” which amounted to 70 million won, was included in her settlement details. In response, the agency clarified that all contracts were legally signed with parental consent.

1. I don’t think this applies to every single idol though… 

2. This person isn’t even a celebrity anymore, so why does she keep popping out? Does she need attention this badly?

3. I don’t care about her talking about experiences she’s been through, but the way she lacks nuance in talking about her situation and infer that it applies to “all” idols is so wrong.
