[instiz] [EXCLUSIVE] CHOI MINHWAN “I’VE FREQUENTED ADULT ENTERTAINMENT VENUES VERY OFTEN” TESTIFIES TO THE POLICE

FT Island member Choi Minhwan has reportedly admitted during a police investigation that he “frequently visited AE establishments.”

According to a police investigation report obtained by this media, Choi Minhwan was cleared of charges related to violations of the law on prostitution and related activities due to insufficient evidence.

Choi Minhwan was accused of contacting A, an employee of an AE establishment located on Nonhyeon Road in Gangnam, Seoul, at 5 a.m. on July 9, 2022. He allegedly inquired about a pros*** business and paid an unspecified woman for s** services.

During the investigation, the police found that in the phone conversation between Choi Minhwan and  A, words like ‘TC,’ ‘girl,’ and ‘drinks’ were used, and considering the specific business practices of the establishment, they judged that Choi Minhwan had contacted A to inquire about visiting an AEvenue.

In his statement, Choi Min-wan claimed, “I have inquired A frequently about visiting AE establishments, but I have never engaged in pros*****. I don’t even remember whether I actually visited the mentioned AE establishment.”

A also stated, “The conversation with Choi Minhwan was about going to an AE establishment, not a pros***** business.”

The police concluded that based solely on the recording of the phone conversation between Choi Minhwan and A, they could not confirm the pros***** allegations. Furthermore, there was no other evidence to contradict their statements, and the content of the recorded conversation suggested they were inquiring about an AE establishment, not a pros**** business.

2. You’ve been to AE establishments, but you’ve never engaged in pros*****? That’s like saying you drank alcohol, but you never DUI…
