Hyeri (31, Lee Hyeri) has fallen in love. Her partner is dancer Woo Tae (34, Chae Wootae).

According to sources in the entertainment industry on the 1st, Hyeri and Woo Tae have been dating for over a year.

The two first met while working on the movie Victory, which was released last year. In Victory, Hyeri played the passionate leader of the rookie cheerleading club “Millennium Girls.” She performed choreography to songs like Diva’s “Why Are You Calling Me” and Deux’s “Look Back at Me,” which was taught to her by Woo Tae. Woo Tae, along with fellow dancer Kinky, worked as a choreography coach for the film.

A source close to the couple shared, “Filming took place in Geoje, South Gyeongsang Province, where they first met while practicing choreography. Even after returning to Seoul, they continued to go on dates and showed a loving relationship. Although they only recently told people around them, they’ve actually been dating for nearly a year.”

Another source added, “It’s a very cautious relationship, and they’re being considerate of one another. They were there for each other during tough times, which has made their bond even stronger.”

Hyeri debuted in 2010 as a member of the four-member girl group Girl’s Day, and later transitioned into acting. She recently appeared in the drama Race of Goodwill, which aired earlier this year, and is currently on a fan meeting tour across 10 cities in Asia due to the drama’s popularity.

Woo Tae is a dancer who specializes in choreography and gained recognition after appearing on Mnet’s Street Man Fighter in 2022.
