[instiz] FORMER APRIL MEMBER LEE NAEUN, MAKES RETURN AFTER 2 YEARS… CAST IN ‘CHAEBOL X DETECTIVE’

Former April member and actress Lee Naeun has been cast in the new SBS drama ‘Chaebol x Detective’.

Namoo Actors confirmed on November 16 KST that Lee Naeun will appear in episodes 9-10 of ‘Chaebol x Detective’. The omnibus-style drama centers around a third generation chaebol detective who fights money with more money and power with more power. Ahn Bo Hyun will play the male lead Jin Yi Soo, alongside actress Park Ji Hyun playing the role of the violent crime investigation team chief Lee Kang Hyun. 

Lee Naeun has been away from the screen since early 2020, when her group, April, became wrapped up in team bullying rumors. April eventually disbanded in January of 2022, after which Lee Naeun signed on with Namoo Actors. 

Meanwhile, ‘Chaebol x Detective’ is scheduled to air in January of 2024.
