Former EXO member Tao will hold his wedding with actress Xu Yiyang, a former SM trainee, this October.

According to local media outlets such as Sina Entertainment on the 11th, Tao recently revealed during the recording of a variety program, “I will be holding my wedding with Xu Yiyang this October.”

The two are reportedly preparing a “wedding of the century.” Numerous celebrities as well as fans from both sides will be in attendance. They have prepared seats for fans, and are also discussing the possibility of a live broadcast of the wedding.

Particular attention is being paid to whether EXO member Luhan, with whom Tao has maintained a close friendship, will attend as a guest. Tao and Luhan have continued their bond, including performing “Our Tomorrow” together at Luhan’s concert.

Tao and Xu Yiyang had been involved in dating rumors since 2020 and publicly confirmed their relationship last year after four years of speculation.

In December of last year, the two registered their marriage and became a legally married couple. At the time, Tao posted on his personal account, writing “goal achieved” along with a photo of himself and Xu Yiyang holding their marriage certificate.

Tao debuted with EXO in 2012 but left the group in 2015 and has since been active in the Chinese entertainment industry.
