Hello, this is the producer of ‘Good Day.’

First, we would like to apologize for any concerns you may have about the situation.

The production team recognizes the seriousness of the controversy and continues to prioritize viewer response.

‘Good Day’ is a program that is pre-produced two weeks in advance and at least one week before airing due to the translation process for overseas broadcasting/transmission. As soon as the controversy grew, episode 5, which aired yesterday, was hastily edited to remove the part of Kim Soohyun’s appearance at the ‘Good Day General Meeting’ from the version that was already in storage and under translation in consultation with MBC and global OTT platforms. As a result, episode 5 was about 10 minutes shorter than the previous episode and had less detail.

Regarding the recording on March 13, the production team waited for the official stance of Kim Soohyun’s agency on the controversy, but due to the fact that the agency would express its stance the following week (as of March 13) and the difficulty in securing the schedules of the performers after that date, the production team had no choice but to proceed with the recording. After careful consideration, the production team decided to proceed with the recording and sketch filming with the intention of deleting the segment and to avoid overlapping with other guests as much as possible. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this process may have caused to those who love ‘Good Day.’

We believe that as long as the controversy continues, the purpose of ‘Good Day,’ which started with good intentions, the sincere hearts of the performers, and the love of the viewers who sympathized and supported them will continue to be undermined. The content of the ‘Good Day General Meeting’ that was released yesterday from the second half of episode 5 was filmed on February 18, and will unfold over the next 6 to 7 episodes, and the production team decided to edit out Kim Soohyun’s appearance as much as possible. We will not be broadcasting his individual recording on March 13th.

We will continue to work hard to make the remaining broadcasts enjoyable for viewers, and we will do our best to make the program a program that can be enjoyed on a good day and with good people.
