Some fans within the group Hearts2Hearts fandom have announced plans for a truck protest in support of Carmen.

On the 16th, an announcement was posted on Carmen’s overseas fandom account regarding a truck protest organized by her agency, SM Entertainment, to show support for Hearts2Hearts member Carmen.

In particular, regarding the reason for the protest, the overseas fans emphasized that it is intended to address the issue of Carmen’s outfits during the promotional activities for Hearts2Hearts’ new song, ‘Lemon Tang,’ for which they are currently conducting comeback promotions.

Carmen was photographed wearing the long skirt-shorts outfit revealed the previous day, with shots released showing her with her arms outstretched in front of a beach, posing with a smile against the backdrop of the sea, and a close-up shot holding a beach ball.

The teaser images also drew criticism regarding Carmen’s outfit, leading some fans to create their own versions by changing her attire to shorts or a skirt, just like the other members.

Previously, Carmen’s international fandom has been protesting, claiming that the agency is treating her unfairly regarding her outfit and styling in the teaser images released on the 16th. In particular, regarding the group photo and the shot featuring Carmen, Yuha, Stella, and A-na, they pointed out that while the other members wore summer-appropriate outfits such as shorts and crop tops, Carmen was the only one wearing a long skirt-shorts outfit.

In addition, they are also criticizing the previously released “Lemon Sun” concept image, noting that in the two-shot shot of Carmen and A-na, Carmen in the foreground appears blurry due to a lack of focus, while A-na in the background is clearly in focus. They are protesting this, claiming that Carmen is being treated discriminatorily.

They have also launched a mass email campaign, stating, “As fans supporting Hearts2Hearts member Carmen, we express deep concern over the series of unfair treatments Carmen is experiencing during the recent ‘Lemon Tang’ comeback project and request an official explanation and improvements.”

The fandom is demanding improvements regarding issues such as the quality of Carmen’s teaser images, styling that does not harmonize with the concept, and the lack of individual activities compared to other members.

Hearts2Hearts, the group Carmen belongs to, is set to make a comeback on the 22nd with the release of their second mini-album, “Lemon Tang.”
