All the albums he released under SM were great, and his vocal tone really suits pop and R&B, so it matched him very well. It also seemed like things fell apart partly because of personal feelings… There are actually a lot of fans who want him to return to SM. Unlike Chen and Xiumin’s situation, his core fandom is really strong, so he’ll probably do fine no matter what, but personally, I still feel a bit disappointed about it
