On the 24th, OOAK Records announced that it will hold a press conference by CEO Min Hee-jin on the 25th at a location in Seoul.

OOAK Records explained, “Min Hee-jin, CEO of OOAK Records, will personally speak about the first-instance court ruling and her future plans.”

Previously, on the 12th, the court dismissed the lawsuit filed by HYBE seeking confirmation of termination of the shareholders’ agreement against Min, the former CEO of ADOR, and one other individual. In addition, the court upheld the lawsuit filed by Min and two others against HYBE seeking payment of the stock purchase price following the exercise of a put option, and ordered HYBE to pay ₩25.5 billion to Min. HYBE has since filed an appeal.

Min notified HYBE in November 2024 of her intention to exercise the put option on her ADOR shares. However, HYBE maintained that because it had notified Min in July of the same year that it was terminating the shareholders’ agreement—the basis for the put option—the effectiveness of the put option had also lapsed. Min, on the other hand, argued that the termination of the agreement was unjust and refused to accept it, leading both sides to engage in an intense legal battle.
