Is it true…?
I heard more and more kids these days aren’t interested in idols anymore
Back in my day, there was always at least one kid at school who liked an idol
1. It’s true that Koreans are less interested in idols
2. I can see that it’s been a while since they lost their appeal with the general public
3. It’s true
4. ㅇㅇㅇ You’re right. There are so many other things to like now, so there’s no real reason to stick to K-pop
5. Only the kids who like K-pop continue to like it
6. A market survey conducted overseas said that K-pop already peaked in 2023 and now it’s only going to go downhill
7. There are fewer new fans these days because there are so many other things to like, like YouTubers and other content creators. The pie is getting split into smaller pieces
8. After companies started sending idols on tours overseas, they have been doing less promotions in Korea too. They would only perform for two weeks on music shows even if they make a comeback so what is there to stan? Their only reason to release albums is also to go on tours overseas and they don’t care about their performance in the charts anymore
9. I think it’s trueㅠ I feel like idols were popular with the general public only up to the 3rd gen..? It’s true that after the 4th gen, I started to feel like “wtf is this?”
10. This was said 5 years ago as well and I still think that it’s true. There are so many other people/things to be a fan of other than idols
