For real, I haven’t seen a song that blew up more than that
1. Spring Day!
2. To be honest, all the boy group songs that ranked afterwards were doing well all thanks to their fans’ streaming. From a muggle’s standpoint, there are no other songs as successful as Growl and BANG BANG BANG
3. It wasn’t popular with the Korean public but I remember hearing Dynamite so much when I was going out that I got tired of it… If we can consider foreign general public…
4. In my opinion, mega hit = a song that men and women can sing along. I’m honestly not sure about Dynamite. I’ve never seen young and old people sing that song?
5. For K-pop, if you consider Korean market, I’d say Love Scenario, and for Korean and foreign markets, APT…… Everyone ranging from kindergarten kids to chodings and everyone else are going around singing “APT APT APT APT”ㅋㅋㅋㅋ
6. Spring Day had a long run but Growl is the real deal…
7. I can feel that Spring Day is going for the long run but Growl just hit big in one instant? Right now, K-pop is more popular and mainstream but back then, in my school days, people didn’t ask “which idol do you like?”, they’d ask “do you like EXO?”ㅋㅋㅋ
8. Reading this made me realize that it’s so hard for a boy group to have a mega hit
9. Love Scenario is a muggle song. It was #1 in the yearly chart
10. If you look at Melon, Growl was #12 on the yearly chart in 2013, Love Scenario was #1 in 2018, BANG BANG BANG was #1 in 2015, Dynamite was #12 in 2020 and surprisingly, Boy With Luv was #3 in 2019
> Love Scenario was seriously a hit song
11. I do think that it was a mega hit but I don’t think that it was the last mega hit
12. I think that Love Scenario was the last
