Most people get capsular contracture (T/N: when there’s scar tissue buildup around the silicone implant), so (they get revision surgery), and over time, their face ends up looking different.
1. It’s case by case. My mom got hers 20 years ago, and my grandma 13 years ago. It’s been 9 years for me. Of course, some people’s bodies don’t react well to implants, some get capsular contracture, but others live just fine without any issues
2. The moment you get an implant in your nose, you have to be prepared for potential side effects
3. I think this is true for me too. An actor I like looked fine for 8 years, but then suddenly their face started changing every year, and I couldn’t get used to it..
4. I think that’s true… It just takes different amounts of time, but it feels like it always happens eventually
5. That’s why I try to avoid getting nose surgery unless it’s really necessary… My nose is really flat, but I just live with it ㅜㅜ When I was younger, I didn’t know any better and wanted a nose job the most
6. It’s not just the nose, your entire impression changes completely… You end up looking like a different person. When I saw my previous bias after their nose surgery, I didn’t recognize them. It feels like you lose more than you gain with surgery
7. You really can’t tell the prognosis of a nose job… But the best is still to not touch it
8. There are still idols that had freaking good nose jobs, but once time passes, you never know
9. Seeing how celebrities’ noses keep changing, it’s so severe… When I see cases of capsular contracture, I honestly just gasp ㅜ
10. I really hope people avoid getting nose surgery unless absolutely necessary. Your nose is the most noticeable part, seriously… If you do get it, don’t be too greedy, keep it as natural-looking as possible.
