YG Entertainment will end its actor management business. The actors who have completed individual meetings will leave YG in order of the expiration of their contract dates.

On the 17th, YG announced that it will cease its actor management operations. The company explained that it restructured its business to focus on its core music operations, and as part of that, it will withdraw from the actor management sector.

YG has been gradually winding down its actor management business since last year. According to reports from Ilgan Sports, the company carried out an organizational restructuring on January 1st based on this plan. Sources said that YG held individual meetings with each actor to explain the current situation of the company and its future direction and to seek their understanding.

The separation process is not that all actors will leave YG at a specific point, but rather that they will not renew their contracts. They will fulfill their management duties until the expiration of their existing contracts, and their departures will be sequential.

Among them, the only actor with a disclosed contract expiration date is Yoo Seungho, who will leave YG after March.
