[instiz] YG GIRL GROUP’S SHOCKING CONFESSION… BAEMON’S ASA “THE HIGHEST LEVEL OF EDUCATION I GOT WAS KINDERGARTEN”

BABYMONSTER’s Asa shocks with surprising educational background

On the July 6th broadcast of SBS’s Running Man, guests included Joo Hyun-young and BABYMONSTER members Ahyeon and Asa.

During the episode, Yoo Jaesuk asked Asa about her real name and how long she had been living in Korea. Asa replied, “My real name is Enami Asa. I’ve been in Korea for six years.” Actor Choi Daniel then asked, “Did you go through elementary, middle, and high school in Korea?” to which Asa responded, “I’m a kindergarten graduate. I started training while attending elementary school.”

Asa, a Japanese member, began dreaming of becoming a singer in second grade and attended a dance academy. She passed YG Japan’s audition in 2018, officially starting her life as a trainee. Although she was initially eliminated from the last evaluation alongside Rora, YG producer Yang Hyunsuk later accepted fans’ opinions and selected both of them for the final debut lineup.

On July 1st, BABYMONSTER made a comeback with “Hot Sauce,” a dance track that reinterprets 1980s old-school hip-hop sounds.

1. Wow this is sever

2. Does Japan not have the concept of compulsory education???? Is that even possible?

3. No matter what the public says about making them graduate high school, that Yang f*cker went even further and made them drop out of elementary school too

4. What about compulsory education?? How is this possible?

5. It seems she dropped out because she’s Japanese? For a young foreigner to attend school in Korea, the parents probably have to migrate too, since a guardian is required. It doesn’t seem like the environment allowed the parents to come and take care of her, so she likely came to Korea alone and lived in a dorm while training. But I heard Japan has correspondence schools for kids who are hikikomori or face bull*ing and other issues… ;; I don’t know if she didn’t have time to attend or just didn’t go, but if she dropped out in elementary school, she really bet her life on coming to Korea. That’s tough. Her skills are no joke, it makes sense that with that kind of determination she practiced hard enough to make the debut lineup.

6. The contract-related matters are probably handled by the parents, right..?

7. ????????

8. This one is really bad….

9. I watched the video and it seems like she was going to Japanese school and came to Korea to become a trainee, but because it was too hard for her to keep this up, she couldn’t go to school anymore

10. I saw another group whose members almost all dropped out from middle school and I was already shocked, but kindergarten… And she’s a foreigner too
