Not only in Korea but also overseas, even in Japan, posts about this keep coming up ㅋㅋ This is just the tip of the iceberg. If someone really sat down to write about how they were worked to the bone with cost-effective yet disastrous management just to make money, it could fill an entire book.

The poor conditions in 2021-2022 can be somewhat understood, but what they did to IVE from the second half of 2023 onward was truly a betrayal.

The only real advantage they had was song quality, but they hoarded good songs for the rookies and ended up giving IVE Baddie after they had reached their peak with I AM, sending them downhill. On top of that, they were too busy debuting a new group, leaving IVE with a 10-month gap after Either Way.

At a time when other groups were building their fanbases and careers, IVE, a group not even two years old, was sent on an 11-month world tour just to rake in money. They even cut back on overseas promotions to save costsㅋㅋ

Originally, the new girl group would have debuted in early or late 2026, but since they pushed for an early 2025 debut, it makes sense why IVE’s management suddenly worsened in the second half of 2023. If they had just delayed it by a year, IVE would’ve had more financial leeway, and their situation wouldn’t have deteriorated.

Turns out they registered the trademark in July 2024, which means they had this planned well in advance, most likely in the second half of 2023.

And now, because they don’t want to get dragged, they’re suddenly pulling PR stunts about operating three separate divisionsㅋㅋ They knew they’d get criticized. Being clueless is bad, but knowing and still making terrible decisions is even worse.
