Just because they used a tennis concept doesn’t mean it’s plagiarism. However, ILIT has shown a strange pattern. In previous works with a tennis concept, they repeated the same hair, makeup, and styling, and even the objects. For example, when you think of Rum Pum Pum Pum from F(x.), you think of tennis skirt, tie, and long red hair, and all these overlap. Similarly, when you think of “tennis,” you think of Red Velvet’s Russian Roulette, and here, the styling overlaps again, with a lot of similar scenes. It’s not just an homage, it’s almost like they’re copying the whole work intentionally. To sum it up, they’re not just reinterpreting the “theme”, they’re copying the theme, along with every additional element of the original work.
