‘Controversy’ after photos of Fubao serving customers were posted on Weibo
Scars on the forehead, hair loss on the neck, and even suspicion of wearing a leash
Circumstances were discovered that Fubao was being used for private hospitality in China.
Recently, a close-up photo of a panda that appears to be Fubao was posted on Chinese social media. It was a cell phone photo that appeared to show someone other than the zookeeper reaching out to touch or feed the animal.
Hair loss and pressure marks on the neck were also found on the panda in the photo. Fubao looked the same in the video recently released by the center.
Because pandas are vulnerable to infection, Korean zookeepers came into contact with Fubao while wearing masks and gloves.
Chinese netizens who saw the photo in question raised suspicions that Fubao was only ‘serving’ a special few (customers).
In addition, there were angry reactions such as “They said they would provide a large garden for Fubao, but why is she lying on the dirty cement floor?” and “What is the reason for the isolation and quarantine process for more than a month?”
