[NETIZENBUZZ] I JUST WATCHED KIM EANA’S RADIO EPISODE WITH ALLDAY PROJECT

At the very beginning, when they were introducing each member one by one on screen

She was like ‘Wow~’ for Bailey, and ‘Ah pretty~’ for Tarzzan,

but for Youngseo, she was just ‘Okay~’ and for Annie too just ‘Mhm~.’

It’s funny how she goes out of her way not to call pretty girls pretty.

And then from the radio segment on, she started with “Don’t you guys feel cocky?”

Saying things like ‘This is going to be hard’ and going in with harsh criticism

And the members’ faces all froze

t/n: Context: it became a bit of a heated topic on communities. Article below:

The issue lay in Kim Eana’s hosting style. She began the conversation by saying,

“It’s only been 24 days since your debut. The response has been so fast, doesn’t that make you feel cocky?”

She especially made presumptive comments toward member Annie, saying,

“You probably had the shortest time as a trainee,”

and when Annie mentioned her motto was ‘This too shall pass’, Kim responded,

“Are you saying you want this radio show to be over quickly?”

She also made a somewhat judgmental remark toward member Tarzan, who has a “troublemaker” concept, saying,

“That’s not something people say for no reason. Have you actually caused trouble? If not, then you’re not really a troublemaker.”

Kim even exposed bias against co-ed groups, saying,

“When people hear it’s a co-ed group, don’t they usually say, ‘That must be tough?’”

But then added,

“After seeing your performance, it was clear why you had to be a co-ed group,”

seemingly trying to acknowledge their chemistry.

The typical boy crazy

But doesn’t she have an ilbe controversy after her? That’s all you need to know

3. [+23, -5]

Does Kim Eana get on the bad side of the heiress of Shinsegae? I keep seeing this issue on Pann and even everywhere in Reels too

4. [+13, -5]

It wasn’t even that bad;;

5. [+11, -1]

Kim Eana’s scandals aside, I think with the sentiment nowadays, it’s better to not hype up visuals for pretty people, especially when everything is seen as “bodyshaming”
