[NETIZENBUZZ] I KINDA FEEL BAD FOR STAYC

At one point, they were even compared to aespa due to their high buzz, but once they stepped away from the “teen crush” concept, which was STAYC’s strength, you can really feel their decline in popularity. I don’t know why the vocal mixing was done the way it was in this new song. If they had released something like “1 Thing” or even “Cheeky Icy Thang” as the title track, it wouldn’t have been this bad. The song wasn’t even as bad as GPT that wasn’t even able to chart in the daily chart. Honestly, I think it wouldn’t be a bad idea for them to work with other composers instead of Rado now. Even though Rado pushed for “1 Thing,” it doesn’t seem like they lack an understanding of how music works? I really don’t know what’s going on with this group after listening to their new song. 

It’s karma. When they lost their mainstream appeal with “ASAP,” people kept saying they should give more on the parts of members like Isa, J, and others, but they completely ignored that and chose songs that only focus on high notes from Sieun and Yoon. Regardless of whether the song is good or not, it was painful to listen to… Especially with “Beautiful Monster,” it was really polarizing. From a fan’s perspective, they might be okay with it, but from a non-fan’s perspective, it’s hard to add it to a playlist because their voices are exhausting to listen to
