NewJeans is Soaring with Successes Despite Minji’s “Attitude Controversy” 

On January 7, a topic titled “The current situation of NewJeans amid criticisms” was published on the Korean forum Pann Nate, drawing attention.

In particular, the author of the topic mentioned that NewJeans recently won the Grand Prize “Song of the Year” at the 2024 GDA (Golden Disc Awards), as well as have won a total of 8 Daesangs so far – the highest among 4th generation groups.

The author basically implied that despite ongoing criticism due to Minji’s “attitude controversy”, NewJeans is soaring with successes.

On the other hand, NewJeans’ Minji was previously criticized for “harshly rebutting” at netizens who continuously criticized her for not knowing kalguksu, a Korean noodle dish.
