Everything aside, I like all the NewJeans members and I’m obsessed with their songs and I’m a big fan

But NewJeans noticeably uses a lot of English

Minji, Danielle and Hanni just speak in English between themselves

I get that the foreign fans might be thankful that they speak English

But I feel like K-idols are losing their identity…

NewJeans’ songs also have more English lyrics than Korean lyrics

And because those three members always speak English, it’s just a bit… sad

Recently, there was a controversial(?) livestream where Hyein was half-joking and half-serious saying how the members would talk in English between themselves all day long and that she can’t bear hearing it anymore… Minji just seems to accommodate the foreign members but I just wish that Hanni and Danieare openedlle would speak more Korean
