Even if firstweek sales are generally declining overall, dropping to two-thirds of the previous album is way too severe.
Even though overall album sales are going down, BLACKPINK already surpassed 1.4 million in first week sales, and aespa, NMIXX, and i-dle have either maintained or even increased their first week numbers compared to their previous releases. But isn’t IVE the only one whose first week sales dropped by nearly 40% compared to a year ago?
And it’s not like there was a dating scandal like aespa or TWICE, or a skills controversy like LE SSERAFIM’s Coachella incident or aespa’s GMA controversy. It’s also not like there was a long hiatus between releases like between “HEYA” and “Rebel Heart.” First-week sales don’t usually drop just because digital chart performance falls once, and there weren’t any external factors that would’ve affected first week sales either. So why did their first week sales decrease so drastically?

Who would you be more jealous of? NMIXX who can maintain their first week sales VS a A-list girl group who hit #1 on music charts like IVE?

They’re still A-list

Looks like someone is spamming hate posts against A-tier girl groups ^^ It went from aespa to BP and now IVE too ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ You sure are working hard on the negative virality ^^

BP, aespa, IVE and NewJeans creating a buzz and all getting hate at the same time? It’s kind of suspicious

Why are you dragging IVE when this group’s total sales is 200K less than their first week sales, so it’s a clear indication of album pushing? ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ What about how they sold 700K for their first week sales but they only sold 50K more albums with a total of 750K? ㅋㅋ that’s just bizarre
