ADOR also addressed claims regarding Belift Lab’s alleged copying of their planning materials, stating:

“The documents in question are not materials produced by ADOR. Moreover, former executive Min, who initially raised the copying allegations, has provided no supporting evidence or necessary cooperation, making it challenging to confirm or assess the facts. However, we have directly obtained and compared the planning materials in question—Belift Lab’s September 2023 document and the Source Music 2021 team plan reportedly drafted during Min’s tenure at Big Hit Music. We shared our comparison findings via email on October 8.”

ADOR continued, “Following the receipt of a formal notice, we also requested supporting evidence from former executive Min on the 15th and sent another fact-checking request to Belift Lab on the 18th. Min did not respond, and Belift Lab replied that it had already addressed the matter sufficiently through media interviews. HYBE stated that since the whistleblower had left the company and Min did not provide evidence to the court during the injunction case, it is difficult for HYBE to verify the facts or provide additional information.”

ADOR expressed concern over baseless plagiarism accusations, stating:

“Prematurely asserting copying without concrete evidence risks harming all parties involved and stirring unnecessary controversy. Such actions could lead to relentless disputes without meaningful resolution, negatively impacting the artist’s image. We believe the best approach is to focus on the artist’s distinct qualities, which are best demonstrated through successful public activities.”

Additionally, ADOR noted, “In response to these concerns, we requested heightened security for the Source Music 2021 team plan from HYBE’s security team on the 25th. We received confirmation that necessary measures had been implemented for those involved.”
