aespa member Karina donated a total of 100 million won to support firefighters and victims of wildfires.

Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association announced on the 27th that Karina (real name Yoo Ji-min), a member of the group aespa, donated 50 million won each for firefighter support and wildfire victim assistance, totaling 100 million won (~68K USD).

Karina said, “I feel like there has never been a time when I longed for an ordinary daily life like these days,” and “I sincerely hope that the prolonged wildfires will be resolved quickly, and that all those who have been affected can return to their everyday lives.” She added, “I express my deep condolences to those who lost their lives due to this wildfire, and I sincerely thank the firefighters who are working tirelessly on the scene day and night.”
