Hanni: From there, 3 ILLIT members and a manager came out so I greeted them!!

But…

1. On the CCTV, you could see the ILLIT members greeting her

2. The next day, Hanni’s KakaoTalk messages described the greeting situation, confirming that all three members had greeted her in the end.

““(ILLIT Member 1) Seemed surprised as soon as they saw me, but bowed their head in greeting. They looked surprised and uncomfortable.” (Hanni, June 2)

3. They failed to provide any evidence of this 

NewJeans: ‘Ignore her’ remark from an ILLIT manager of Belift Lab.

Tribunal: It is difficult to conclude that Hanni actually heard this (ignore her) remark, and considering that Hanni sent an English KakaoTalk message to Min Heejin on the same day stating that the three ILLIT members greeted Hanni uncomfortably or stiffly, and that the scene of the three ILLIT members bowing down to greet her was confirmed on HYBE’s CCTV at the time, it was not sufficiently proved that Hanni heard a remark that violated her right.

In the end, ‘the ILLIT members mocked the NewJeans crew and did not greet them’ was found to be legally incorrect.

“At first, the members were understandably distressed. They told me that they were only struggling among themselves and that they were fine with the company because they didn’t want the company to worry. Especially when the ‘Ignore’ incident happened, they were so shocked. They asked, “Don’t you know the facts, why are you doing this?
