[theqoo] BUNNY MUSEUM THAT GOT BURNT DOWN BY THE LA FIRE

The Bunny Museum was run by Steve Lubanski and Candace Frazee, who have been collecting and displaying bunny-related items for nearly 40 years. The Lubanskis affectionately call each other “Bunny,” and their collection of rabbit-shaped items began as gifts to each other. Their collection now numbers more than 46,000 items. Their extensive collection of rabbit-related items even earned them a spot in the Guinness Book of World Records for having the world’s largest rabbit collection.

Among the exhibits were hundreds of miniature porcelain rabbits, including the first rabbit doll Lubanski ever gave to his wife, Frazee; T-shirts with rabbits on them; earthenware cookie jars; posters for rabbit-related movies like Who Framed Roger Rabbit; rabbit costumes; books about rabbits; and other rabbit paraphernalia.
