According to reporting by Ilgan Sports i, the Seoul Central District Court (Single Judge Division 58-1) approved the provisional seizure on February 2, which ADOR had requested against properties owned by Danielle’s mother (referred to as A) and former CEO Min. The total claim amount is 7 billion won, with seizures applied up to 5 billion won for Min and 2 billion won for A.

Previously, on December 29, 2025, ADOR filed a 43 billion won damages lawsuit against Danielle, A, and former CEO Min. Then, on January 23, it requested provisional seizure only against the latter two, excluding Danielle.

Former CEO Min had an apartment in Yongsan-gu and a villa in Mapo-gu seized. In the case of the Yongsan apartment, a previous provisional seizure of 500 million won had already been placed by ADOR on December 23, 2025, and this new measure adds to it. The first seizure is reportedly related to a case in which an ADOR employee in charge of NewJeans styling allegedly received styling service fees personally from an external advertiser while Min was CEO.

The villa in Mapo-gu was also subject to an additional seizure, following a prior 100 million won provisional seizure requested in September 2024 by a former ADOR employee (B), who is currently engaged in civil and criminal lawsuits against Min regarding workplace harassment.

It was also confirmed that Danielle’s mother, A, had a villa in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, and an office in Anyang, Gyeonggi Province, provisionally seized. After the court’s approval, the decision document was delivered to A on February 13. However, since it could not be delivered to Min, a public notice service (a legal procedure where delivery is deemed completed via court posting when direct delivery is difficult) was carried out.

A provisional seizure is a legal measure taken to secure a creditor’s claim to money or recoverable assets. Assets under provisional seizure cannot be disposed of until the main lawsuit is finalized, effectively restricting their sale or use as collateral. As a result, if the trial is prolonged, the debtor’s ability to utilize their assets remains limited.

Meanwhile, there are signs that the main lawsuit proceedings may be delayed. As of April 24, the entire legal team representing ADOR in the 43 billion won damages case has resigned. This mass resignation occurred with about three weeks remaining before the next hearing scheduled for May 14.

Because the original legal team has stepped down, ADOR will need to appoint new lawyers, who will also require time to review case records and issues. For this reason, ADOR may request a postponement of the hearing date.

At a preparatory hearing on March 26, Danielle’s legal team had requested a speedy trial and pointed out what they described as ADOR’s “intent to delay the proceedings.” This followed ADOR’s submission of a request to change the hearing date on March 24, just two days before the session.

Regarding the latest mass resignation, the legal representatives of Danielle and former CEO Min submitted a statement on April 28 requesting that the trial proceed as scheduled. They stated to Ilgan Sports, “The other side suddenly resigned,” adding, “As we stated in the previous preparatory hearing, we hope the trial proceeds as planned.”
