Han So Hee and Ryu Jun Yeol have discontinued their discussions to star in a new production.
On April 2, a source from SHOWBOX, the production company of “Delusion” (literal title), shared, “Discussions on Ryu Jun Yeol and Han So Hee’s appearance in ‘Delusion’ have been halted. The production of ‘Delusion’ will proceed as is.”
Ryu Jun Yeol’s agency C-JeS Studios also confirmed, “Ryu Jun Yeol was in the early stages of reviewing [the offer to star in] ‘Delusion,’ and it is true that the production company requested that we discontinue the discussions. As we should not cause any damage to the project, we felt responsible for this incident and agreed to suspend the review.”
Set in 1935 Gyeongseong and 1800s Shanghai, the “Delusion” webtoon is a mystery thriller that tells the story of what happens when artist Yun Iho is commissioned to paint a portrait of the mysterious woman Song Jeong Hwa and visits her hotel. Director Han Jae Rim of the films “The Show Must Go On,” “The King,” and “Emergency Declaration” is in charge of production.
Previously in March, Han So Hee and Ryu Jun Yeol received casting offers to star in “Delusion.” Later that week, their dating news broke out, and the two actors’ agencies initially denied the dating rumor, but Han So Hee personally confirmed in a lengthy blog post that she was dating Ryu Jun Yeol. On March 30, both agencies confirmed that Han So Hee and Ryu Jun Yeol have ended their relationship, stating, “They promised to no longer emotionally exhaust with their personal life.”
