The fallout from the martial law situation and the presidential impeachment rejection seems to be extending to singer Im Youngwoong.
A Pocheon City Hall official said on the 9th, “We are aware of the controversy involving Im Youngwoong and will review whether it pertains to his role as a promotional ambassador based on relevant ordinances.”
Im Youngwoong was appointed as Pocheon City’s promotional ambassador in July 2019 and has been active in the role ever since. It is known that a Pocheon city official, who was an unknown figure at the time, selected him for the position early on due to his roots in the city.
