“A blog post where I write about how I think I’ll feel when I turn 40
Actually, I was planning to write a blog post about how I’d feel when I turned 30, but there are so many women in their 30s here, and so many who are about to turn 30ă…‹ă…‹ă…‹Â
Turning 40 feels like it’ll never happen, but at the same time, it feels like it’ll be here before I know it…
I talked about it with my friends, and here’s what they said:
Friend 1: I don’t think it’ll be a big deal. It’ll probably feel just the same.
Friend 2: When I’m 38, I’ll probably still think, “I’m still in my 30s,” but when I actually turn 40, it’ll feel so surreal.
Me: Wow, I really can’t even imagine it… I don’t know if I’ll feel younger than I expected, or if I’ll feel like I have a lot of wrinkles, or what I’ll even think of myself at that time.
Just like turning 30 didn’t feel like a big deal, maybe turning 40 won’t either?”
1. I don’t have money…. and I realize that’s how I’ll live for the rest of my life
2. When I look in the mirror, I realize that I became an ahjumma…
3. My mind just goes “Wow!” and I feel so disconnected to aging ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ But I need to stick through it..
4. Nothing much is going on, and the aches and pains of being in my 30s aren’t even really aches and pains, it’s just that my whole body hurts every day. And I can actually see my face aging rapidly? Other than that, life is pretty much the same as always
5. Most of people around me have d**d
6. I’m scared because I feel like I’ll be one of those 40 y.o who feels young but I’m actually cringe
7. It’s not that my stamina is waning, I’m finally starting to break down for real. My mental age, though, hasn’t changed a bit
8. I don’t think anything will change.. Now that I’m 30, I’ve come to terms with my age
9. As soon as I turned 40, I suddenly realized how old I am, and it hit me hardㅜㅜ I’m so sad. From now on, I’m going to forget my exact age ㅋㅋㅋㅋ
10. I’m scared of aging and I’m scared of the future
