Singer Hyuna and Yong Junhyung have started a public relationship.

Hyuna and Yong JunHyung posted a photo on their respective personal accounts showing them walking hand in hand. “Please look at (our relationship) prettily,” Hyuna wrote, confirming their public relationship.

Hyuna and Yong Junhyung previously worked together at Cube Entertainment (Cube) as members of Four Minute and B2ST. The two have been close friends since 2016, when they collaborated on the song “A Better Day” from Hyuna’s solo album Bubble Pop. As such, there was a lot of speculation about whether their surprise confession really meant a relationship or a spoiler for a new collaboration.

In response, Hyuna’s agency AT AREA said, “We do not get involved in artists’ extremely private matters.”

Yong Junhyung’s agency, BLACK MADE, also said, “It’s the artist’s private life.”

Given the recent trends in responses to dating rumors, both parties are essentially acknowledging the romantic involvement. In the entertainment industry these days, when a relationship rumor is not true, it is explicitly denied as “baseless.” However, when it is a real relationship, the company either remain silent or say that it is their “artist’s private life”.
