A video recently went viral on social media. A man with long hair down to his ears is singing ‘Don’t You Know’. His face is definitely a newcomer, but his singing ability is like he’s been singing for 10 years. The singer whose voice overpowered his face is ZO ZAZZ. 

ZO ZAZZ (real name Cho Hong-joon) made his official debut in the music industry with his single album ‘Don’t You Know’ on the 7th of last month. The song is a remake of Davichi’s original song released in 2013. It is said that Ahn Young-min, the lyricist who composed ‘Don’t You Know,’ first suggested the remake album to ZO ZAZZ. Although there were several remake proposals, Ahn rejected most of them because he didn’t have a voice that he liked, but it was the soulful male version of ‘Don’t You Know’ that moved him. 

Within a month of the song’s release, the response came. The YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram releases exceeded 1 million combined views on various platforms, and the firepower continued to spread to the music charts. As of 8 a.m. on the 19th, it was ranked 8th on Genie’s real-time chart, 9th on Melon’s Hot 100, and 16th on Bugs’ real-time chart. On the 13th, the song also topped NAVER Vibe’s domestic rapid rise chart.
