Many people are reacting with disbelief to the potential banning of TikTok, but the atmosphere wasn’t quite as severe as it may seem.
Surprisingly, even during the congressional hearings, the focus was more on verifying ideologies and asking questions like “Are you Chinese?” or “Is there any relationship with China?” rather than directly addressing the issue at hand. This kind of bullsh*t actually contributed to dampening the atmosphere surrounding the issue.
However, why did a rare, unanimous vote to ban a company in the United States, of all places, manage to pass?
The crazy f*ckers who are obsessed with TikTok have lost their minds and are going so far as to leak personal information of the bill sponsors and even set up a hotline alert.
Of course, this insanity led to the House of Representatives voting with a slim majority for the complete ban of TikTok.
