[theqoo] JUN JIHYUN, TAX AUDIT PENALTY OF 20 MILLION WON “DIFFERENCE IN INTERPRETATION, NO ILLEGAL ACTIVITY AT ALL”

Actress Jun Jihyun’s representatives have responded to reports that she was fined in an intense tax investigation by the National Tax Service two years ago.

On February 10, Jun Jihyun’s agency, IEUM Hashtag, said in an official statement, “We would like to inform you about the tax investigation related to actress Jun Jihyun that was reported by a media outlet today (February 10),” adding, “Ms. Jun Jihyun was confirmed that there were no problems in the 2023 tax investigation through due process for all major matters.”

“However, due to a difference in interpretation of how expenses were treated between the tax accountant and the National Tax Service, there were disagreements on some items, and she paid additional taxes of approximately 20 million won (~13K USD), which is a normal adjustment in the course of a tax audit,” he said.

“We want to make it clear that this penalty is not related to any material tax issues or wrongdoing,” he added.

1. So Yoo Jaesuk was this impressive huh? He confirmed every little detail of his tax audit

2. 20 million won is nothing to Jun Jihyun to the point where it makes no difference whether she got penalized that amount or not

3. If she got penalized 20 million won, then it was her mistake

4. If a commoner got penalized 20 million won, would you guys really call it a “mistake”?ㅋㅋ

5. Let’s reveal Song Hyekyo now

6. Ayeeㅋㅋ it was just a mistake

7. With this little amount, it does seem like it was just a simple mistake

8. It really seems like it was just a mistake

9. Song Hyekyo’s additional charges were 3.8 billion. That’s tax evasion.

10. Jun Jihyun was the one who bought a building with cash without a loan… She doesn’t seem like the kind of person who’d do something stupid to save a couple thousand won
