MBC weathercaster Kim Ga-young has been embroiled in allegations of bullying her junior, the late Oh Yoanna. An MBC insider has now come forward with claims supporting these accusations.

On January 31, the YouTube channel Garosero Research Institute released a recorded phone conversation with an MBC insider.

Previously, Oh Yoanna’s family stated through this channel that “Park Ha-myung and Choi Ah-ri bullied her openly, while Lee Hyun-seung and Kim Ga-young harassed her in secret.”

Regarding this, MBC insider A explained, “True character assassination isn’t just about openly swearing or making harsh remarks. It’s when someone pretends to be a kind and supportive senior in front of you but then ostracizes you behind your back, calling you a “worthless X” just because you appeared on You Quiz on the Block.”

A further claimed that Oh Yoanna and Geum Chae-rim were systematically ostracized by their seniors simply for being newcomers. “If Park Ha-myung was the one who directly bullied Oh Yo-anna, then Choi Ah-ri was even worse in attacking Geum Chae-rim,” they alleged.

Additionally, the insider accused Kim Ga-young of trying to create conflict between Oh Yo-anna and broadcaster Jang Sung-kyu. They stated, “Kim Ga-young co-hosts a morning show with Jang Sung-kyu. Oh Yoanna was also close with him since they used to work out together. When Kim Ga-young found out, she allegedly told Jang, “Oppa, she’s a liar. She’s a worthless X.” After hearing this, Jang confronted Oh Yoanna, saying, “I heard you’re a liar,” which shocked her. When she asked, “Who said that?” Jang replied, “Kim Ga-young did.”
